Welcome to the
2nd Marie Cantagrill 
International Violin Competition

That's it ! 
After a very beautiful and successful first edition last year, we're happy to launch now the 2nd one !

Applications are open ! (You'll find below the links to download our new applications in english, writable online)
It's in Couserans, in South West of France (Pyrénées), in the beautiful city of Saint-Lizier, city of art and history, that the 2nd «Marie Cantagrill International Violin Competition» will take place.   

This competition, organized by «Musique et Partage en Couserans», is open to the public and it'll be an opportunity for beginners and advanced violinists to meet and present their best work to a jury of professionals and to a caring audience. 

Designed to create an emulation, that is a dynamic fit to stimulate the arising of new talents, this «musical encounter» will give to all a chance to discover new interpretations, technics and also profit of wise and professional advices, all of that in an atmosphere of conviviality and sharing. 

The jury is chaired by the virtuoso concert soloist Marie Cantagrill and it'll consist of violinists and musicians recognized for their work.

In addition to the prizes from the professional jury, in each category will be given a special audience Prize that will reflect our desire to underline that in art and music, the emotion felt by the public has to remain the essence.

The Competition is open to all (5 levels, from beginners to Excellence) and to all nationalities and countries.

TO APPLY ONLINE : 
follow the following steps

1) download the writable Application Form (in english) here :

2) fill it directly on your computer (no need to print it, it is an online writable PDF)

3) SAVE IT on your computer once it is all filled 
(This is a very important step, or else we won't be able to read any 
of your answers when you'll send it to us!)

4) send us the saved application form by email, before MAY 15th, to :

5) Do not forget to send after that, by post, all the other documents asked on the application form, along with the payment of the application fee of the level you chose to participate in.
